Your First Visit
Please arrive to your first visit with us about 10 minutes early so you have enough time to fill out our New Patient Form. Or, you can fill our new patient form online ahead of time.
Step 1: A Review of Your Dental Care History
During your first visit, we will review your dental care history, as well as any concerns you currently have about your oral health.
Step 2: A Complete Oral Exam with X-rays
Our staff will do a complete oral exam, including X-rays, in order to assess the overall health of your smile.
Step 3: A Full Oral Health Plan
At the end of your first visit, we will prepare recommendations, which will include oral maintenance, as well as additional dental services that you and your doctor agree upon.
Insurance & Financing
At Deer Valley Dental Care, we are ready to help you navigate your payment options, including insurance and financing, so you can focus on maintaining your oral health.
Payment Methods
The full cost of your treatment must be paid at your appointment. We accept payment by cash, debit, or most major credit cards.
Insurance Claims
We can assist you in coordinating with your insurance provider and verify the coverage of your insurance plan. We can then proceed to collect from the insurance company.
Financing
We offer quick and easy financing to help you achieve your dental goals.
Open Communication

Is your office accessible by public transit?
Yes! You can take Calgary Transit to get to our office. Exit the bus between Bow Bottom Trail SE and Deer Ridge Drive SE, along Canyon Meadows Drive SE (the stop ID is 5963). Then, walk through Deer Valley Market Place and look for the big olive-green building.

What is your cancellation policy?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Appointments are scheduled specifically for you. Our team will contact you one week prior and again one day prior to your scheduled appointment with a courtesy reminder. However, it is your ultimate responsibility to arrive for the scheduled appointment.
We require a minimum of two full business days' notice to change and/or cancel appointments.

Do you provide services in any languages other than English?
Yes, our office is able to provide dental services in several languages, including French, Spanish, Arabic, Punjabi, and Cantonese.
If you have a language preference, please advise us when booking your appointment.

Do you accept new patient emergency appointments?
Yes, if you are not an existing patient of Deer Valley Dental Care, you can call or walk in if you are experiencing a dental emergency. We will do our best to schedule you in as soon as possible to treat you.
