Dr. Doty has practiced dentistry in Alberta since graduating from University of Toronto with honours in 1984. Dr. Doty played football at the University of Toronto and was a member of the 1983 Yates Cup Championship team. He was awarded the “Silver T” for university athletic excellence. His father, Fred Doty, quarterbacked the Toronto Argonauts to 3 straight Grey Cups 1945 to 1947.

Dr. Doty is married to Lisa (his loving wife of 25 years) and has 3 daughters: Ainsley, who teaches at Bishop Carroll High School, Tory, who is a student at the University of Lethbridge and Leighton, who attends Mount Royal University.

Dr. Doty is currently the President of the Calgary District Dental Society and co-ordinates the yearly operation of the Calgary District Curling League. On his spare time, Dr. Doty enjoys many athletic activities including golf and curling and is an avid CFL supporter.

Dr. Doty has been at Deer Valley Dental Care for 23 years and looks forward to the honour and privilege of continuing to care for his many loyal patients.
