Dr. Kim Scott is a lifelong Alberta resident, originally born in Cardston. He then later moved to Calgary at the age of 14 and became a youth swimming instructor at the South Calgary YMCA. Dr. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 1983 and proceeded to practice in offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Fort Macleod, finally settling in Medicine Hat for 21 years. Eventually, Dr. Scott moved back to Calgary to provide his children access to the schools they required. He has experience with implants, prosthetics, and dentures but chose to stay in general dentistry to enjoy the variety in cases.

Kim has a large family, including six children, two stepsons, and his wife Tetyana. Dr. Scott spends most of his time doing dentistry, or learning more about the industry, but enjoys exploring Calgary’s parks and helping to protect our wildlife in his spare time.

Dr. Scott provides services at Deer Valley Dental Care as a general dentist.
