Deer Valley Dental Care is currently looking for experienced Treatment Coordinators to join our dedicated team.

Job Title: Treatment Coordinator

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Reports to: Craig Hayes, Office Manager

Treatment Coordinators perform a vital role in Deer Valley Dental Care's continuing success. TC's own and manage our valued patients and ensure that they are completely taken care of. There are a number of tasks that must be completed accurately for our patients including billing, insurance submissions, appointment bookings, etc. It is important that every TC build a rapport with their patients so that they are able to openly discuss and choose treatment plans that are right for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Providing a crucial communication link between our patients and dentists
• Reviews medical history and explains office policies and procedures
• Makes a definite financial agreement with each patient/parent in accordance with the financial policies of the office
• Educates patients in practice policies and helps patients to understand the complexities of their insurance
• Helps patient to make educated decisions on their treatment
• Monitors patient progress through each treatment
• Sends the patient records for consultation with appropriate specialists as required
• Helps to co-ordinate practice building and public relations efforts with patients, parents and referring professionals
• Print and proof-read patient correspondence
• Keeps treatment levels within practice goals
• Ensures the follow-up of all outstanding treatment plans
• Other duties as assigned
